Community Connections Grants (CCG)

First 5 Sacramento is proud to have provided the opportunity for community driven projects that benefit families with young children.  The CCG program was unique in that it empowered community members to come up with their own creative ideas and truly make a difference .  Over the last 5 years more than 60 diverse groups have been funded spanning across all of Sacramento County.  Many funded projects​ will still be active until June 2021.  Unfortunately First 5 will no longer be accepting applications for future projects.  

Although community-driven grants are unique, there may be some funding opportunities when working with a non-profit organization or fiscal agent.  Possible resources include:

2-1-1 is a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week free information resource. Anyone can call for information and assistance with connecting to a broad range of community resources, including but not limited to children’s services, health services, housing, financial assistance, employment, food programs, and more. Assistance in different languages is available.
