Community Connections Grants (CCG)

First 5 Sacramento provides mini grants, up to $5,000, for people like you, who are interested in organizing activities that promote the health & well-being of young children while building relationships with other members in the community. Applications are accepted twice a year. The application for the next round of funding will be released on August 15, with a deadline of October 1. A mandatory Statement of Intent to Apply is due no later than September 21st. If you are interested in applying, follow these simple steps:

Step 1. Find out what it’s all about! Read CCG Frequently Asked Questions.

Step 2. Brainstorm ideas with other people who want to join you in making a difference in your community!

Step 3. Contact Alejandra Labrado at 916-876-5873 to discuss your idea. 

Step 4: Submit a mandatory Statement of Intent to Apply, no later than September 21st

Step 5: (Optional): Attend an application workshop on Wednesday, September 12th from 3:30-5PM at 2750 Gateway Oaks Drive, Suite 330. This workshop is optional, but you are strongly encouraged to attend!

2-1-1

2-1-1 is a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week free information resource. Anyone can call for information and assistance with connecting to a broad range of community resources, including but not limited to children’s services, health services, housing, financial assistance, employment, food programs, and more. Assistance in different languages is available.
